Nissan Repair: 97 Pathfinder intermittent stalling, fuel pressure gauge, fuel pump relay

Question
My Pathfinder (Auto) starts without any problems, but will stall about once every few days while driving or waiting at a light.  Does not seem to be weather or temperature related.  The engine will not restart for approximately 1-3 minutes.  But eventually it does restart and the frequency of stalling has been increasing in the last few months.  No fuses ever blow.  I had the fuel filter replaced, but no luck.

Answer
Hungsun,

Check the fuel pump for pressure when the vehicle stalls.  I bet the fuel pump is on the way out or the fuel pump relay is going out.  You can get a fuel pressure gauge at the parts stor for something like $30 bucks.  Screw it into the fuel pressure rail and drape the gauge to the windshield where you can see it from the drivers seat.  When the vehicle does the cut out thing if the pressure drops off you will know that it is fuel related.
