I have a 330hp cat diesel rv. what type of chassis/starter batts do I need? I have been told I need a group 31, however there seems to be a wide variety within that category

Interstate makes the best battery as far as we are concerned.
In the 31 group there are a number of choices. With that size of engine you need lots of amps to turn it over.
Try a 31-MHD or two. It is a Mega Heavy Duty. Sells for around $117. with 950 CCA.
