RV Repair: rubber roof replacement, lumber yard, fifth wheel

Question
I have a 1993 Regal Prowler fifth wheel trailor. The roof has some bad boards that needs repairing, and the roof needs replacement.I have decided to do this myself,do to estimate cost by a service center.I would like any helpful information. Thankyou.

Answer
I recently replaced part of the roof on my Winnie (due to a crash) and found it easier than I thought and it came out better than I anticipated.  I took the old roof off, noting how it was hooked on and basically made what was there out of common lumber yard materials under the original type of skin.  Take note how it is made and attempt to duplicate it as close as you can.  Most roofs are only sandwich construction glued and pressed together.
