Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Weedeater FL1500LE leaf blower, poulan carburetor

Question
The primer bulb is cracked and Poulan does not list it as a separate part (they want me to buy the whole carb).  Can't this part be replaced and if so, how can I get it?

Answer
If you can give me the numbers off of the carburetor itself I can get you the part number.  If it's a Zama carb, there will be  a number like C1U tucked into the recess on the carb body and may take some cleaning to see.  There will also be some small numbers stamped into the side like W-12 and I will need those as well.

If it's a Walbro carb, there will be some numbers printed on the side of the carb.  They may be very faint and hard to read.  I usually use a magnifying glass to read them.

Honestly though, most of these carburetors are in the $20-25 dollar range so if you think there may be any other carb trouble, I'd replace the whole thing.  If it's just the primer bulb, or syringe as it's called on some parts lists, they're of course just a couple dollars.

But let me know the carb numbers and I'll look it up.  Sometimes people have trouble responding back on this site due to the limited amount of questions we can answer a day.  If you have any trouble you can contact me through my shop's site which is in my profile.  Thanks, PK.
