Ford: 2000 mustang 3.8l, shell gas, appricated

I have a 2000 mustang 3.8l convertable standard.  My first problem is when i am accelerating i heard a rattleing only when i am accelerating someone told me it could be my pressure plate not sure any suggestions?.  My second problem is i hear a small whining or a small squealing noise from my clutch. Any suggestion would be much appricated. thanks

The rattling noise could be eng ping upgrade you fuel to 93 oct. and see if this help you and make sure you don't use shell gas we been having a lot of problems with eng ping.  The other noise could be your throw out bearing. when you push the clutch down or let it up and the noise changes then thats it .
