Mazda: Bose in-dash cd changer error EO1, 2000 mazda 626, mazda dealer

Question
I have a 2000 Mazda 626 ES and now I cannot access my cd's, play them, eject them, load any.  While I was playing my cd's, I received an EO1 error code.  I finally got tired of playing with it, so I switched to fm radio.  I can play fm radio, am radio or even play a tape, but I cannot do anything with my cd's.  I have six in the changer now.  I am no loger under warranty either.  The display shows I have six cd's in the system, but they are held hostage right now.  What is my best option?  Please help.  BTW, this happened once before but later that night or the next day, the cd's started spitting out.  This time, nothing!

Hi Michelle and thanks for the question.  My Answer---I have no clue.  I would call the local Mazda dealer and ask for a service writer(advisor) and tell him(her) your problem and they should be able to help you without costing you a fortune.  Best of luck to you.  Bud
