Mitsubishi: throttle body and transmition, mitsubishi 2002, follow ups

Question
Hi Dinger

I have a mitsubishi 2002 GDI lancer, made in singapor. I recently sent it in for a routine check up and mentioned to the mechanic that I had been noticing slight stuttering when slowing down and just accelarating. When I recieved it, the mechanic told me that it was a throttle body problem and he serviced it. It is just a little over a week now and the car began trembling more, revs up when drivng and eventually would not even start. Could the mechanic have made matters worse or can this be a new problem? If this is a new problem, what might it be?

Answer
Hi Xavier,

Wow, this is a very cool car. I need a little more info from you if I could; is the check engine light on when it's running? and when it dies and won't start did it happen once or will it not run at this point? Was it hot or cold when it died. This will take a few follow ups so please be patient. I will get you the right answer.
