How to Replace the Front Signal Lights in an Acura Integra

Signal lights help drivers remain safe on the road by providing other drivers with a warning about upcoming directional changes you need to make. When these light bulbs stop working, you can perform some do-it-yourself maintenance on your vehicle in order to reinstate this vital safety feature. You should keep your Acura Integra's signal lights working properly so the hazards feature also performs correctly.

Things You'll Need

  • Phillips head screwdriver
  • Remove the front turn signal light casing by removing the screw that holds it in place with a Phillips head screwdriver. Gently pull the light casing straight out from your Acura Integra to reveal the damaged signal bulb.

  • Grasp the turn signal light bulb from your Acura Integra and gently turn the bulb counterclockwise. Pull the light bulb straight out of its socket and clean the contact points of any dirt.

  • Replace the light bulb and push it in as you turn it clockwise to lock it into place. Ensure that the pins on either side of the bulb from your Acura Integra line up properly to keep the bulb secure.

  • Check your new light bulb to make sure it works properly. Engage the signal to ensure no faults lie in the switch or the light bulb.
