Car Alarms: 92 legend car alarm, keyless entry system, accelerator pedal

Question
I'm not sure how it happened because i wasnt there when this occured, but my 92 acura legend's alarm system turned on and we can't figure out how to turn it off. If it had a keyless entry remote, we dont have it and we tried to lock and unlock the door with the key and it still wont let the engine start. thank you for ur help. by the way the alarm system is a stock option not aftermarket.

Answer
Hey double B,
No problem solving this for you.
The factory alarm disarm wire at anti-theft module
(Door lock module and factory anti-theft modules
are mounted together between column and
center console above the accelerator pedal)
is green/red |-|.

To disarm the factory system permanantly
(suggested if you do not have a remote) is to
splice into this wire, and put it to ground on the
body of the car.
This then keeps it from ever arming again.

That solves one problem, and creates another 1 or 2.
This car is WAY too easy to steal. I can do it
in less then 40 seconds. I STRONGLY suggest
you put in an alarm/keyless entry system that
will have starter kill, and a good siren.

Let me know if I can help in
that regard. I have the perfect system
you can install yourself that fits
the bill here.

Have a good day
and good luck with it.
