I have to put in a tail light bulb, it just happens that when I go into the trunk, and take out the first plaster (interior) piece, the screws I only see are unable to be unscrewed, because they are the opposite way, is there another way into the tail light assembly that I'm missing, if so, how do i go about this?

You'll need a wrench or deep 8mm socket to remove the three nuts from the studs that stick through.  You should then be able to pull out the tail lamp.  You may need to press outward on the little plastic piece where the fourth stud would be.  There's a retainer on the lamp that fits into the plastic piece, and it sometimes is stubborn coming out.
