Land Rover Repair: landrover, torque specs, valve train

Question
i need torque specs on 1998 landrover discovery
for valve train,intake,and cylinder heads

Answer
I'm sorry but it's not just a number.  You have to tighten those in a particular pattern, and they are torqued by angle of ratation, not absolute torque.  Look in the workshop manual for a picture, and if you don't have one, buy a day's access at www.landrovertechinfo.com

Also . . . head, intake, and valve cover bolts are one-time-use items.  They stretch and Land Rover has updated them several times.
