Nissan Repair: Combo Lights stay lit with truck off and key removed., climate control unit, fuse panel

Hi Mr. Bill Greek,
I'm having weird issue of My exterior Running lights, interior gauge/climate control unit lights, exterior brake lights stay on with 93 D21 4cyl 2wd truck off with key out. I was wondering some possible causes and what to check to isolate the problem.

Hello Mr Walter, first the brake lights. Disconnect the connector that is behind the brake pedal. The lights should go off. Jump the 2 connector terminals with a paper clip or a small wire. The brake lights should come on. Replace the switch. Now the running lights. Locate the fuse that corresponds to the lights and remove it. If the lights go off, replace the light switch. If not, put the fuse back and locate the lights relay. That should be either next to the fuse panel or under the hood inside the relays box. remove the relay. If lights go off, replace it.
