Nissan Repair: Anti-start problem, battery problem, fuel pressure

Question
"Hi,I had some battery problem on sentra 1998 xe (reversed poles)so it blew my 75 amps fuses and some others... After I changed them all, the anti-theft device was not working anymore... Was not a big problem because I just had to unplug the battery for a few seconds to bypass this device... But since yesterday, the car won't start at all. I've check the anti-theft box to look for his fuse but haven't find any. Is there something i can do to fix the problem? Thanx in advance. P-

Answer
P-H,

You will need to see what is going on by checking the systems.  If the car will not turn over when the key is turned you will need to see where it is not getting power.  Now, if it turns over and there is no fuel pressure you can rest pretty much assured that the theft inhibit box is screwed and needs to be replaced.  These are the things I would look at first.  Be sure to check all the fuses over again before you start purchasing parts.  And, specifically at the positive terminal where that master fuse was.  Look for fuse links and other fuses or connections that have been cooked.
