Nissan Repair: starter on 240sx, 89 240sx, starter wire

hi dont rly kno if u do 240sx but i was need some help .. my 89 240sx had jus gotten a clutch change and when the mechanic droped the tranny he popped some wires which he didnt put back on an now i hav no speedometer altho i get everything else but the starter wire was also popped ..now my starter was jus replace about 7 months ago but i hardy drive it an now it cant start even with the wires connected i heard it mite be a starter relay switch i have 2 check but dont kno where 2 look an i really need my car now thankss

Hi Jon,

Personally, I wouldn't stand for this from someone I paid money to for a repair. This would never happen in my shop! If I where you, I would take it back and demand them to repair the damage they caused. The starting issue is likely the wires shorted due to being pulled out and not being reinstalled correctly. The speedo is because they broke the speed bullet because the "tech" forgot to disconnect the cable before dropping it, as with the starter also.
