Toyota Repair: P2238 code on 2004 Rav4, air fuel ratio, toyota dealer

My  2004 Rav4L has 97,412 miles on it and is displaying the P2238 engine code.  What does that mean and what is the fix?

Hello, Toyota has published a service bulletin for this code, it involves replacing the air/fuel ratio sensor and then recalibrating the engine control module, the warranty is for 8years and 80,000 miles, this is a known problem so I would recommend contacting the Toyota dealer to see if this has an extension or if it has turned into a recall in which case it is done at no charge
