Tractor Repair: Farmall B Throw-out bearing, clutch control, farmall b

Question
QUESTION: I have a 1940 Farmall B that I am restoring. I need to know how to take the old throw-out bearing off the yolk. I am not a professional.  Can you help me with this problem?

ANSWER:    The bearing is a press fit onto the hub.  You can either pry it off or drive it off with a hammer.  To get the new bearing on straight, put the bearing and hub in a vice and squeeze the bearing on with the vice.
