The wiper blades on your Chrysler PT Cruiser are necessary to clear your windshield when the weather is poor. Inspect your wiper blades regularly for any signs of drying or cracking. Replace the blades every year or sooner if they exhibit signs of wear. The PT Cruiser uses 21-inch wiper blades on both sides. Buy new wiper blades from an auto parts store.
Grasp the wiper arm and raise it to an upright position. The wiper should sit completely off the glass.
Flip the wiper blade backward so the rubber section of the blade is facing straight up. Locate the release tab beneath the wiper blade where it connects to the wiper arm. Push the tab down while you slide the wiper blade straight up off the arm.
Slide the new wiper blade onto the wiper arm until the retaining clip clicks, locking into place. Lower the wiper arm to the glass. Repeat the process on the opposite wiper.
