Car Stereos: hooking up a after market radio, factory radio, market radio

im taking my factory radio out of my 2000 suburban and putting in a alpine indash now im at the point where every thing is working but there is no sound one told me it has a factory amp that needs to be bypassed he wanted me to give 75$ for a 10 min job can anybody help me plz

Hi Antisus,

You need an aftermarket product to hook your car up to the sound in the factory amp to keep your system working correctly as the speakers currently use a common ground, which is a fair bit of work to bypass without it.
