Lincoln/Mercury Repair: 2002 Lincoln Continental seat problem, lincoln continental, back seat

Mr. Spinks, the driver's seat in my 2002 Lincoln Continental LE will not move forward and is currently moved all the way back. I can hear it working, but the seat isn't actually moving. Could you tell me how I can fix this or what I need to check in order to fix it?

Joy, Most likely the seat track needs replacing. To get you by, you may want to try this: While your sitting in the seat and pushing the button to go forward, have someone else in the back seat push forward ON THE LOWER PART of the seat. You may get lucky and "catch".
