Nissan Repair: cant put car into park, nissan altima, altima

Question
1993 Nissan Altima GXE; automatic transmission
recent repairs w/in past 6 mo: replaced rotaries

Problem: my car won't shift into Park (can shift to all others),
therefore i'm unable to remove my key from the ignition. Is this
something i can repair myself or do i need to take it to the
dealership to get repaired? car can start and drive.

If you wiggle the shifter and it still will not go into park.  If it will not then you have a shift interlock problem.  I would assume that the button still presses in and if you press it the car will not go into park.  So, take the shifter apart and lubricate the linkage.  If that does not do it the shifter will need to be replaced.
