Auto Parts: c70 window regulater cable, volvo c70, question thanks

hello i have a volvo c70 year 2000 i had a problem with my window i took the door panel off and found that the cable that runs though the regulater was broken i have been told i could need a new regulater could you please tell if i can buy just the cable as the regulater £550 i would be very greatful if could answer this question thanks for your time.

Hi Kevin,

Unfortunately you cannot buy just the cable, well, you probably could but I doubt that you have the tool needed to rewind the cable onto the spool. You CAN purchase JUST a window regulator without a motor but the savings over getting one that already has a motor attached to it would be minimal if anything. I could search to see if I have a regulator, but I'd need to know which door, coupe, sedan, convertible or station wagon and where you are located. I'm assuming not in the US since you used the '£'.
