Dodge: Transmission Damage, tow truck driver, transmission damage

Question
The tow was not our choice, and the towing company won't communicate with us. No, it did not slip before the tow, like I said, it only had 800 miles on the newly rebuilt trans. I believe they towed it less than ten miles, but I am not positive.

Our 1995 Dodge Ram was towed apx. two weeks ago with the drive tires on the ground and the drive shaft in place. When we got the truck back, the transmission now has a nasty slip, especially in reverse. The transmission had less than 800 miles on it. What happened?
Answer -
if you had a towing service, tow the truck then they should help you with it.Did it slip before the towing? How far did he tow it?

Answer
Cathy,
It's hard for me to say. With a rebuilt transmission some do fail even after they are rebuilt.I'd contact them and tell them what the transmission is doing. It should have a warranty. You may not want to mention anything about the guy towing it.Why won't the towing company communicate with you?Are they guilty of something?Usually on a rear wheel drive automobile the tow truck driver will hook it opposite to keep it from harming the transmission.
