A 2.3-liter in-line four-cylinder engine came standard in the XL and XLT models with an option for a 4.0-liter V-6 engine. The V-6 came standard in the Sport model.
The dome lamp mounted overhead in the passenger compartment of your Ranger takes a No. 904 bulb. There is a small notch in one end of the dome light lens. Use a small, non-marring trim tool at the notch to pry off the lens cover and access the bulb.
